SilviCultural’s cruising and inventory program allows you to input measurements from your forest to generate inventory statistics based on species and region-specific formulas, enabling you to see how much wood you have actually grown. See volumes in MBF, cords, Tons, or cubic feet. Use the data to estimate harvest yields and make important management decisions.
Collect Data in the Field
Collect Cruise basal area data out in the field using conventional and simple means, such as an angle gauge and notebook. As long as you can access and understand your tallies later, you can use whatever method works best for you.
Enter Your Data and Generate Your Stats
Select from a list of every tree species in north America and enter your species tally and height per plot. The data saves to your stand or harvest polygons and chooses regional variables to best calculate your standing inventory. Come back and view or edit your data at any time. Cruise after harvest to monitor removals.
